How the Ghost is simulated
- Decision points are your recorded entries. The Ghost cannot invent trades you never considered.
- Each decision uses only the Ghost's own realized results before that entry; nothing after the entry influences take/skip/size.
- Entries fill at your recorded average entry price; resized orders are assumed to fill at the same price.
- Stops fill at the stop (or the bar open on a gap) with 2 bps adverse slippage. Bars are 1-minute; within the entry and exit bars no trigger is assumed.
- Commission $0.005/share, minimum $1 per order, applied to every Ghost order. Your actual P&L uses the fees you recorded.
- The Ghost holds your original planned stop and ignores later stop moves.
- No partial profit-taking.
- Buying power 4× equity, starting equity $100,000. Futures use contract point values and are not limited by buying power (broker margin is not modelled); options use 100 shares per contract.
